The barcode's days are numbered

In 2027 the QR code becomes the standard for product identification at the point of sale. Retailers are already applying it: Tesco, Carrefour, Mercadona, bonÀrea. When your customer takes the step, the requirement travels down the chain to your packaging line.

Italvision has been reading QR codes in industrial production for years. Now it brings that to your line.

PackVision reads the EAN and the QR at the same time, under the GS1 Digital Link standard, and verifies that the content of the code is correct: that the batch the code states is the batch inside the pack.
